Yesterday was an acquisitive day in the garden: so many questions, so many satisfying answers from my Mom and myself. The kids love learning, listening, and exploring natural wonders. The biggest surprise of all was the mother hen with her six chicks 🐥. Now it came as a surprise because we had Rooster tacos 🌮 about a month ago. So how she guarded her eggs 🥚 and protected herself at night since then had been a mystery. You see, raccoons will try their hardest to have a chicken dinner, and that’s why we put them in the chicken house at night. Luca helped feed them cooked eggs, those carnivals, and give them water. We went and bought more chick food since our baby ducks are teenagers now, how fast they grow in just weeks. It will be exciting to watch these little ones grow. Their mommy is a great teacher and protector!
Today is another day filled with adventure. I was greeted by Luca at 6:30 am, that’s when his mental alarm clock goes off. He takes his iron pill since it needs to be takin one hour before eating. He asked me how I slept, I asked him, and he told me good! His sensitivity warms my heart ❤️. We cuddle until Portia comes into the room, wanting to share her surprise she made for Luca. Always playing, may it never end!
